Chevy Silverado 2500 HD For Sale

Are you looking for a pickup truck that can take on bigger jobs than a light-duty model can manage? You've come to the right place. The Chevy Silverado 1500 is a popular truck because it has so much to offer, from capable powertrains to a comfortable and modern interior. Its heavy-duty big brother, the Silverado 2500 HD, can deliver all of that, plus truly impressive towing and payload capacities that can handle even the toughest tasks.

We're proud to offer the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD for sale here at Ryan Chevrolet of Minot. North Dakota isn't called the Roughrider State for nothing, and these days many of us have traded in our horses for the horsepower under the hood of a pickup truck. As part of the Minot community, we know that our neighbors value hard work and are looking for tough vehicles that can get the job done. The Silverado 2500 HD certainly fits that bill, and since it's built to last, you can make good use of it for a nice, long while.

Why Buy a Silverado 2500 HD?

The Silverado 2500 HD occupies the sweet spot between the light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500 and the powerful but pricey 3500 HD. That means it strikes a great balance between value and capability. Like all of the other trucks in the Silverado lineup, the 2500 HD is a versatile pickup that is well-rounded and suited to a wide variety of tasks. It's available in several different trim levels, from basic and affordable to downright luxurious, and you can also choose from a selection of cab sizes, bed sizes, and optional packages. That makes it easy to customize the Silverado 2500 HD to fit your exact needs, whether you tend to carry bulkier cargo or need to bring a few passengers along for the ride.

The truck's refined interior makes it comfortable for the driver and passengers alike. A state-of-the-art infotainment system helps to keep everyone entertained while en route and provides vital vehicle information, including warnings from driver-assistance features. Modern technology is also used to help keep the truck stable and under the driver's control, even while towing heavy loads at high speeds. Models designed for off-roading have specialized equipment engineered to stand up to the elements in the great outdoors, like skid plates and optimized suspension systems.

Meet the Redesigned 2024 Silverado 2500 HD

For 2024, the Silverado 2500 HD saw some big changes. The off-road-ready ZR2 trim is available for the first time on a Silverado HD. This rugged trim has long been available on the midsize Colorado and was added to the Silverado 1500 for the 2022 model year. Off-road adventurers can now get an even more powerful ZR2 that's truly ready for anything.

The standard 6.6L V8 gas engine now comes with an Allison 10-speed transmission instead of a six-speed transmission. If you want more power, the available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine was upgraded to deliver 470 hp and 975 lb-ft of torque, with better low-end torque production and more efficient combustion. The Max Tow Package is also now available on every trim level of the Silverado 2500 HD, raising its maximum towing capacity to 22,500 lbs.

There are a variety of trailering technologies that have been added or improved upon for the 2024 model year. Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Zone Alert have been modified to work while towing, and Transparent Trailer View is now compatible with gooseneck and fifth-wheel trailers. GCW Alert gives the driver a warning if the truck's total weight, including payload and trailer, is over the vehicle's Gross Combined Weight Rating.

If you want to make sure that you're getting all the latest features, then we can get you behind the wheel of a brand-new truck. When you buy a new Silverado 2500 HD, you'll have more options when it comes to trim levels, cab and bed sizes, and even aesthetic details like color. We pride ourselves on our extensive inventory, but if we don't have exactly what you're looking for on our lot when you visit, we can help you order a truck that meets your exact specifications.

A well-crafted, high-powered pickup like the Silverado 2500 HD is a valuable vehicle, but while it's well worth its sticker price, not everyone who wants one can afford a new model. If you're looking to save some money or spring for a premium trim level without breaking the bank, check out our used Chevy Silverado 2500 HD inventory. We take pride in the pre-owned models on our lot, and we always work hard to have a good selection on hand. Since the Silverado HD is a reliable truck designed to last for the long haul, you can opt for a model with a few miles on the odometer and rest easy knowing that, with proper maintenance, there's still plenty of life left in it.

If you want to strike a good balance between the guaranteed quality of a new truck and the cost-saving benefits of buying a used pickup, a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) model might be right for you. Chevy's CPO certification process has strict requirements. Only vehicles from the past six model years that have a clean title and no more than 75,000 miles on them can even be considered, and before a vehicle can be certified, it needs to pass a 172-point inspection and have any outstanding recalls taken care of.

That's probably already enough to give you peace of mind, but it's not all there is to a CPO model. Certified Pre-Owned Chevy vehicles also come with two factory warranties: a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a six-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. You can drive your CPO Silverado 2500 HD with confidence, knowing that you're covered should any complications arise.
